  • 1. New research found that individuals have greater resistance to cocaine addiction if they have a genetic variant that decreases the function of the enzyme CYP2A6. The decrease in CYP2A6 slows the breakdown of cocaine and protects individuals against cocaine addiction. Radix Astragali and Radix Glycyrrhizal etc. in this formula contain glucoside-type components that inhibit the function of CYP2A6 and thus prevent and treat cocaine addition. 2. Addiction to cocaine results in withdrawal symptoms when a person tries to stop drug taking. For example, a study found that when drug takers were deprived of cocaine for 24 hours, they had increased anger, hostility, and aggression, and loss of social cooperation. Persons suffering from withdrawal also take longer to regain emotional equilibrium following stress. During periods of abstinence and/or craving, drug takers have shown impairment across a wide range of psychomotor and cognitive functions, such as language comprehension. saponin-type components contained in Rhizoma Cimcifugae etc. has the effects of sedation and reducing stress. 3. Cocacine or Cocacine-like substances stimulates excretion of dopamine, which is a chemical in the brain that enhances pleasure. Multiple acidic polysaccharide in Radix Astragali etc. activiates immune systems and balances dopamine excretion, thus reduces cocaine dependence. Also consider: Male/Female Balance I 3 capsules 2 times a day. Psych Balance 3 capsules twice a day, Vitality Balance 3 capsules 2 times a day for various withdrawal symptoms.
